United Building Consultants (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and provides free educational reports and estimate referrals for commercial building owners. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this website, you agree to the practices described here.

When you request our free report or a free estimate, we collect the information you provide directly, which may include:
- Your full name and email address (to deliver the report);
- Your business name, business address, and phone number (to arrange a free estimate or energy audit);
- Information about your building or roofing project that you choose to share with us;
- Automatically collected information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring source, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the free report and other materials you request;
- Connect you with one of our vetted and approved commercial roof restoration experts in your area for a free estimate;

3. Our No-Selling Promise

- With our vetted contractor network: When you request a free estimate, we pass your request to one of our vetted and approved commercial roof restoration experts in your area, who will contact you to schedule an on-site visit. These partners are contractually required to use your information only to provide the estimate and related services, and are prohibited from selling or sharing it with telemarketers.
- With service providers: Vendors that help us operate the website, deliver emails, host data, or run analytics, each bound by confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons: Where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never share it with telemarketing agencies.
7. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other California laws:

Shine the Light Law (California Civil Code § 1798.83): California residents may once per year request a list of the categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding year, and the names and addresses of those third parties. As stated above, we do not disclose your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes, so no such list is maintained.
CalOPPA (California Business & Professions Code § 22575): This Privacy Policy is posted where any user can review it, describes how we respond to “Do Not Track” signals (we do not currently respond to them, but you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the resources in Section 4), and explains how you can request changes to information you have submitted to us.

8. Data Retention and Security
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the services you requested, to comply with legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for commercial property owners, managers, and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
